SR 24 Widening Project

The SR-24 Widening Project in Georgia is currently underway. This project is designed to widen approximately 8.5 miles of SR-24 from the Apalachee River to the Watkinsville Bypass.  Additional right of way is required for this project. This project is in the right of way acquisition phase and the impacts will be significant. If you own property that is impacted by this project, you have been contacted by representative of the G.D.O.T. or will be contacted by one shortly. It is important to review the initial compensation package carefully.
