Michael Wennerlund
Michael N. Wennerlund is a member of the firm’s Creditor’s Rights Group and is the managing attorney for the State of Tennessee. He is a native of Brentwood, Tennessee near Nashville. He graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, minoring in Economics, and from the University of Tennessee with a Masters of Arts in Political Science, with a focus on Political Philosophy and International Relations. He then graduated from the Nashville School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. Michael’s practice focuses on the representation of secured creditors throughout all phases of the life cycle of real estate, including representation in bankruptcy/federal court, foreclosure, eviction, title curative litigation, and closings. Michael is a member of the Nashville Bar Association and its Young Lawyers Division, as well as serving as a member on the Steering Committee for the Nashville Bar Foundation’s Leadership Forum. He lives in Franklin with his wife, three children, and his border collie, Scout. Outside of his professional activities, Michael can be found playing men’s league hockey at the various ice rinks throughout Nashville or exploring the outdoors with his family.
