Mark Clark Extension Project
The Mark Clark Extension in Charleston County is in an early phase but right of way acquisition will start soon. According to the S.C.D.OT., is designed to increase the capacity of the regional transportation system, improve safety, and enhance mobility to and from the West Ashley, Johns Island and James Island areas of the Charleston metropolitan area. This project will result in an entirely new roadway cutting through the property of existing landowners and new right of way expansion along current roadway. The impacts for landowners are significant and it is important to stay ahead. If your property is impacted, now is the time to act.
As a landowner, you have a right to “Just Compensation” for your property. Determining what represents “Just Compensation” can often be a complex task and may require the assistance of appraisers or experts. Our firm cannot make any guarantees about future results, but we have the experience necessary to guide you through the process and help make sure that the amount offered represents just compensation.
